| Haven't updated for such a huge while, I figure I might as well do so now. Lemme jus say this, Montreal is the absolute BOMB!! I haven't partied this hard since...ever! Well newayz, we all went Montreal. Me, chet, mike, chia, chung, johnson, Maria, Li, Joanne & Ann. You guys are da bomb to party with!!
Start driving to the city around 10ish on friday morning. Traffic wasn't that bad until we hit montreal's metro area. Got stuck in traffic while in rush hour, but after bout an hour it was alright. Got to the Hyatt around 5ish and went out to look for some dinner. We decided on Nickel's since it was relatively cheap and good. Mike went buck wild on the pecan pie. The look on him after was priceless! Later that night, we went to Peel Pub. Lemme tell you, the 4L pitchers that they have is freakin amazing! Afterwards, we went to this place called Brutopia. This place is almost like the french version of a Firkin. Live band, good beer and people with an easy-going attitude.
On Saturday, we went shopping along St. Catherine's. I have never seen so many gorgeous women in such a concentrated populated area. Later on during the shopping, me and my buddy went to Cafe Cleopatra. This place is one of the many jewels of strip joints that Montreal has. Had a few drinks and than went back to the hotel. Later on that night, we all went out to Baton Rouge for dinner. The ribs are so tender it didn't need to cut, only needed to be poked with a fork. That night for the club, we went to Jet. This place plays some sick R&b/Hip Hop remixes.
Sunday, we went to chinatown and Old Montreal. Absolute kick ass there! Chinatown is has some nice old school chinese dim sum that I haven't had for the longest time. Reminds of my upbringing in the Broadview chinatown area. After all of us whoring down more than 40 plates of this stuff, we then proceeded to head to Old Montreal. This place reminds me of the distillery district. Walked around for almost the whole day. Later that night, we all went to this amazing french restaurant called Academie. Lemme tell you, you have to go here! The Filet Mignon is the best piece of meat I've ever had! Just glide the knife over the meat and it cuts like butter . This was the best restaurant ever!...EVER!! I literally wanted to hug the chef after eating that Filet Mignon. Afterwards that night, still recovering from the pillow fight, we all went to place called Silver. mmmmMMMM=D. That nite was for shizzle ma nizzle!!

| MONTREAL WAS SICK!!!!!
Friday: Got to the hotel around 5 that evening. For those who don't know the hotel, the place is called La Tour Centre-Ville. This hotel is pretty nice. I just wish I could have whored on the room-service there...haha. Walked around a tip after, then went to dinner at Chez Alexander at around 9 with the group. This place had some really good food. The soup almost tasted like gravy much to Nelson's pleasure and during the night, we made a toast to a guy named SPOONER!! (For those of you who want some background on this guy, feel free to ask me, but I won't be typing it here, cause its better if I explain to you in person, that way, u get more of the story in.) After dinner, we all went to Jet Nightclub. This place has some sick mixes from the DJs there. I coulnd't believe the flow. It was almost like river flowing from one song to another with perfect blend of scratches and beats. After the club, some of us went to the Casino, but we were mostly dead by then. Got back to the hotel around 4.
Saturday: After snoring my way till bout 7ish that morning, we got dressed and went to the bus for the place that we all came for. Mont Saint-Sauveur. This chalet looked really nice and the hills looked absolutely amazing! I took up skiing thinking that I wouldn't wipe out as much as I would if I was snowboarding. Boy was I wrong! DEAD WRONG!! Almost hitting an ederly couple, to hitting at guy from behind. Hit a kid while tubing, and I wiped out by myself with the end result of my face filled with snow and my skies landing 10 feet in front of me. I guess I coulnd't really feel the pain, since I drank a few hours before. However, with all that, Tubing was the most fun! Who knew going down a big ass mountain in a tire could be so much fun! Left around 4 that day and went back to the hotel. A lot of ppl decided to sleep before heading to the club later that nite, but I just go exploring with a buddy of mine. Went to this place called Nickel's Diner across from the Montreal version of the Eaton Centre. Montreal Smoked Meat. KICKASS YO! I've never had smoked meat that good before. Got back to the hotel around 8ish. Took a shower, watched some TV before heading to Club Orchid that nite. I predrank like a beer and two rum shots before going. Once I went into the club, got another 16 drinks there. When the DJ started play alittle 70, 80s flava, I got immediately into "Shake what yo momma gave ya till it drops" mode. I prolly made a fool out of myself during that segment, but it was sooo worth it! After leaving the club around 3ish in which the bartender also got me a shot on the house, we all went to Frite Alors. This place has some SICK poutine!! I've never had mushrooms, bacon, onions and green onions mixed in with gravy poured over fries and cheese curds. SOOO freakin worth it! Got back to the hotel at around 4ish. Thats when we had the after party on the 17th floor! On top of what I drank that nite, I had 3 more two-ounce shots of Canadian Club and Appleton. I think i passed out on the desk.
Sunday: Got up at 9:40 cause my buddy failed at waking me up the first two times. We had to check up by 10am that morning. Needless to say, I was the biggest wreck of all. My eyes couldn't even open. I stumbled my ass down to the lobby after just throwing my clothes on and throwing my other stuff into my luggage. We stopped off at a tim horton's midway and I had my much needed coffee. Made another stop in Kingston for some food before heading back to Toronto. Got back to Toronto, once I got off the bus, thats when I started to get sober. Immediately following that, the pain of 3 days and 2 nights of skiing, clubbing and drinking all started to set in. Now thats, a beautiful pain!=P
One of the best weekends I have ever had! EVER!

This past weekend was pretty good!
Friday: Went to Crystal Room. It was really good that night. Met up with some friends that I haven't seen in a long while. The place was good and the music was pretty good also. Was hoping for some more Earth Wind & Fire though...haha.
Saturday: Went to the OF reunion thingy at Go-For-Tea. This place is actually pretty good in terms of atmosphere. The bbtea itself was ok. Could be better still. But the waitresses....like whoa! Some looked absolutely amazing! But newayz, we had the OF committee and performers come so that all of us could check out the footage from the show. From what I saw of the show on film, it looked amazing! Kick ass job to everyone who were involved in this show. Never have I worked with such a team with everyone being so dedicated to the show. It was a very surreal experience.
Me and some of the other committee members that night went out for dinner after at Major Millken. The place served a pretty good burger! As good as a Johnny Burger tho? I think not=P Afterwards, a few of us went to AFterlife with some of the OF performers. The music wasn't all that great that night, but the company more than made up for it. I even got this Blonde's phone number that night. No whether it's real or not, thats another question=P. Afterwards, we all went to this pho place along spadina. This place served some pretty good noodles. The soup base was also really good.
All in all, a pretty eventful weekend=).

| This past weekend was oh-so-tiring and yet its a good tired
Thursday: Went to dinner with a good friend at The Strand for Winterlicious. If you haven't tried Osso Bucco, please try it. By far, the best meat I have tasted so far . Thank Elaine for dinner that nite .
Friday: After Work, directly went to the rehersal for OF, need to find out what was up with the Parking Passes and Day Passes for next day. Had to go look for hangers for the performers. Wal-Mart has some freakin expensives coat-hangers there. Where's the wire ones when you need'em. Went directly back to the office to look for storage boxes. Went to grab some grub with a buddy of mine after. Pho is so fulling! mmMMM
Saturday: Got up at 5:30am that morning to get ready. Was sooo kick ass tired that it wasn't even funny. But my state was mild compared to what Nelson was going through. This guy is the epitomy of Heart, Grit and Determination. Flu and all, this guy keeps goin. Picked up my buddy and headed straight to Timmy's for some coffee before heading down. Met up with some of the crew there. We were all dead tired before the whole thing started. We started getting things ready. Since I was in-charge for upstairs, I had to implement my plan for security of people's belongings. Lemme say, the plan I had envisioned, the end result was nothing like it. But in the end though, thank goodness no one had their belongings stolen. The shows were very good. The evening show was better than the afternoon one since we had some glitches in the first one. But it took everyone's hard work for this whole thing to come to fruition. Congratulations and props for everyones' hard work toward this show. It was the best show I've seen so far. Between the shows, me and my friends were so damn bored, because our roles were more for during-the-show. So we started singing jingles from commercial a la Ling=P. *on a side note* I wasn't making fun of you Ling, jus trying to pass time.....was the only thing I could think of at the time .
Oriental Fusion has been such a humbling learning experience and I hope that this thing is annual, because now that I know how the process is, I think I can contribute more to the show next time around. Big PROPS to the Performers, the Committee, and the Volunteers. With each person's contribution, the show was simply amazing. Congrats to all of you!
| Well, Oriental Fusion is shaping up and from the rehersals that I have seen, they look ok so far. But there's always room for improvement. I have to improve in my role with OF also. But so far, everything is taking shape and on Februrary 5th, 2005 at Automotive Building at the CNE, OF shall be the fruits from everyone's hardwork.
Went to the new T&T last night at Steeles and Middlefield with a buddy of mine. We saw this nice lookin girl, with her sister and mother from what I saw. Now, my buddy and I were looking at her, but I'm thinking how do I pick up that girl with her mother there?! Now this is reminiscent of one of my previous posts, but each time I see a nice girl, its always at a supermarket. And each time, the girl is with their mother! Now I have come to grips that I will have to devise a strategy of trying to pick up a girl, while diverting the mother's attention away. This is a 2-man job then. Now, I'm hoping that my buddy and I can agree on one of us has to make the ultimate sacrifice and divert the mom's attention away from the "courting of the daughter" situation. How will my buddy and I agree on which one of us goes up to the girl? I think this can be settled with a complex system of selectionn..namely Rock-Paper-Scissors. I'll let you know how this turns out....maybe=P.
